Pain Center Team Earns Everyday Hero Award

Team members in the Pain Center at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton were were recently recognized as EveryDay Heroes by their patient, Dr. Forest Hansen, who paid tribute to the team for the wonderful care he received at the Pain Center.
Pain Center staff members Gail Shorter, DNP Cathy Asche, Linda Wilt Donna Lyons, Theresa Thomas and George King were recognized by Dr. Hansen, who has been a patient of Dr. Shorter’s since 2016. A retired professor of philosophy and world traveler, Dr. Hansen credits his care at the Pain Center as enabling him to continue to travel to places such as Viet Nam and India.
