Physician Recognized as Everyday Hero

The University of Maryland Memorial Hospital Foundation recently recognized Laila Lalani, MD, a physician at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton, as an Everyday Hero.  Dr. Lalani, an internal medicine hospitalist with MDICS, was nominated by Jane Haley, the wife of a former patient, for the quality care provided to her husband.
